What's Happening At Our Place July 2010

Well it has been a long time since we last gave you any news!  I looked and it was back in February.

Since then I have no idea what we have been doing.  As the grass has grown so well, our fellow who was agisting his cattle have taken them home.  Two of them were left here during the muster but as he knows about them, he will pick them up later.

We have had an unfortunate incidence.  Our pet galah (bird) Bubblegum died on the 19th June, a week after our daughters surprise party.  This has been part of the reason I didn't feel like writing.  You may remember her from the time we had her operated on and when we took her over to Western Australia.

We had her over 30 years, ever since she had fallen out of her tree as a baby.  It has been hard, as she used to be in our large hall each night and on the verandah during the day.  So, it didn't matter where you went, she was always there.  If you got up in the morning to have a shower, she would always say "Hello".  It is a very quiet household at the moment.  Even Tarsha (the cat) has missed her.  I found her sitting with my dollies in the old cot.  I have put a photo below.  Obviously wanted some company as her birdie friend was gone.

Well it is not the most cheerful news but we hope you will understand.

Until next time.
