AT HOME WITH US IN NOVEMBER 2006.

Golly another month has gone by and we are now into December.

We have been so busy with the Personalised Santa Letters and I must say we have enjoyed the whole experience.  Packing up their little presents to send with their letter has been a challenge as we have had some older children that we were not counting on.  So a hurried trip into Dubbo to find something that would interest the older ones.  A lovely wife even bought one for her hubby as a surprise as he just loves Christmas.  Now he has to be the oldest one ever!

We have had some rain, which have put a few green shoots through.  We have had such gusty winds and bushfires rage throughout the state.  Where we used to live has had severe bushfires again.  Here, there is nothing imminent, thank goodness but everything is tinder dry, so we watch the dry lightning strikes and keep praying.

It never ceases to amaze us that people do not insure their biggest asset.  After living in bush areas for quite a number of years, it would be unthinkable to cut corners on house insurance.

We are looking forward to the Christmas season as our son is coming out from New York for a few weeks.  All the family will get together over at our daughters house for Christmas dinner.  We haven't all been together for a couple of years now, so it is really going to be a special time.

We most probably will not get a December newsletter out before Christmas, so we would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.  Lets hope that the coming year brings everything you wish for.
