We can help you with Farming based on holistic principles.We specialise in organics but also do conventional farming. We ran 2,500 acres on organic principles and was certified "A" organic.  We ran a successful organic meat business.  As the drought bit harder, water became a problem and even though we had a mass of feed at the other property the cattle were not finished as well as we would like.  Rather than have an inferior product, we disbanded the herd and brought what we could keep to over here. This meant that they lost their organic status.

Our thoroughbred horse stud is known as Chittering Gully Stud It has a resident stallion called "Penthouse Flame". His paddock name is "Chipper".; He has a very quiet temperament, good conformation as well as good movement. What more could you wish for?

We are happy to take in outside  mares to serve.  We will also take stallions as well as mares and geldings for spelling.  There are agistment facilities for long term horses if needed.  Contact us at  chittering.gully@bigpond.com.au

Stay at Rushgardie Homestead.  A large federation homestead set on the 1,000 acres that is a sanctuary for the endangered wildlife. 

"Ashvale" offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.  Be lulled by the hypnotic sight of the setting sun as it silhouettes the forms of grazing cattle and horses.  Imagine watching the wallabies and kangaroos emerge from their bush retreat at dusk whilst enjoying a glass of chilled wine on the verandah.  Wake up to the melodious song of the magpies before enjoying a sumptious country style breakfast.

Quiet and secluded but still close enough to Dubbo where you can discover the many tourist attractions like Dubbo Zoo and the Old Gaol.  Visit Gilgandra, the town of windmills and home of the famous World War I Coo-ee March, or just relax in the picturesque countryside.
